Best Pilates Hour Ever

I’m slowly getting into the habit of blogging. I’m hoping that my content becomes balanced — that I’ll have more things to say about school, life, etc, and not just about working out. Because pretty much all I do right now is work out.. and study. Which is boring.

Anyways, I wanted to write a quick summary of my favorite pilates workout hour ever. And, you guessed it, it’s by

1. Victoria’s Secret Model Ab Workout (14 mins)

2. Victoria’s Secret Supermodel Stiletto Legs Workout (16 mins)

3. Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Butt Workout (15 mins)

4. Victoria’s Secret Angel Arm Slimming Workout (16 mins)


I’ll do this on a day where I’ve scheduled pilates and I’m feeling super over-achieving. To be honest, the reason I’ve scheduled the arms workout last is because it kills me every single time! It’s unbelievable. But I can honestly say I see a difference in my arms already. Which will pay off, since my arms & back are definitely showcased by my dress for Cadaver Ball! (Aka medical school prom.)

Fourth Fitness Week

Saturday, Jan. 19:

Week 3 Day 3 Run of Couch to 5k

Sunday, Jan. 20:

Rest day, woo!

Monday, Jan. 21:

45 minutes of Blogilates

Tuesday, Jan. 22:

Week 4 Day 1 Run

Wednesday, Jan. 23:

Rest day, since I had an exam.

Thursday, Jan. 24:

Week 4 Day 2 Run

Friday, Jan. 25:

1 hr 15 mins Vinyasa Yoga


First Semester

The very first semester of medical school was… How can I put this?


But it’s over now, hooray! And through it all I managed to keep my grades okay. Logically the next thing to do was put more on my plate. This semester I would like to not only work out an hour 6 days a week, but somehow find time to do some research and maybe write some papers. But who knows.

We are now fully immersed in the Musculoskeletal block, which sounds deceivingly simple. All I can say about that is that there’s way too many muscles & bones to learn. At least full-time anatomy is a vast improvement over full-time biochemistry of last semester.

Third Fitness Week

Saturday, Jan. 12:

i was an idiot and drank too much boxed wine on the 11th. worst headache of my life. until midnight.

Sunday, Jan. 13:

45 minutes of Blogilates

Monday, Jan. 14:

Week 3 Day 1 Run of Couch to 5k

Tuesday, Jan. 15:

1 hr 15 mins Core Yoga Class

This class was challenging, but I wasn’t that sore the next day in my core like I had hoped. Maybe because of all the stretching?

Wednesday, Jan. 16:

1 hr 15 mins Yin Yoga Class

Thursday, Jan. 17:

Week 3 Day 2 of Couch to 5k

Friday, Jan. 18:

45 mins of Blogilates!

Second Fitness Week

Saturday, Jan. 5:

45 minutes of Blogilates (Total body torture!)

Sunday, Jan. 6:

Week 2 Day 1 Couch to 5k Run

Monday, Jan. 7:

Level 1 Vinyasa Yoga Class

–> This teacher KILLED me! Even though this class was level one and I’ve done plenty of yoga before, I literally could not walk the whole rest of the week.

Tuesday, Jan. 8:

i literally could not walk. so unfortunately i was unable to do anything!

Wednesday, Jan. 9:

Week 2 Day 2 of Couch to 5k

Thursday, Jan. 10:

Week 2 Day 3 of Couch to 5k

Muffintop Meltdown by Blogilates = LOVE, so intense.

Friday, Jan. 11:

Rest day, woo hoo!
